Jailbreak iphone 2G OS 3.1

This tutorial will show you how to upgrade your iPhone 2G from OS 3.x to OS 3.1 using Custom Firmware for PCs.

Follow this procedure

Step 1: Download these files below and join them using HJsplit

2g custom firmware 3.1 p1
2g custom firmware 3.1 p2
2g custom firmware 3.1 p3

Step 2: Upgrade your iTunes to the latest 9.0 version.

Step 3: Turn your iPhone off and Connect it to your PC or Mac via USB cable.

Step 4: Bring it into DFU mode. To do so, press and hold the Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds, let go of the Power while continuing to hold Home for another 10 seconds, and by then your computer will beep and Windows will detect a DFU device.

iTunes will automatically launch and ask if you want to restore the iPhone

Step 5: Shift click or option click on the "restore" button and find the custom firmware 7C144 ipsw for iPhone 2G you downloaded in Step 1.


After restore ur back on OS 3.1
