Important: Sn0wbreeze will NOT update the baseband, and it NEVER will
iPad 2 is NOT jailbreakable at the moment. iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users who do not depend on UltraSn0w unlock should go for RedSn0w jailbreak. Mac Users can use PwnageTool and RedSn0w. Guides are here:

Step 1: Download all the required tools to windows:
Step 2: Start Sn0wbreeze, click the arrow to proceed.
Step 3: Select the required firmware .ipsw file for your iOS device by clicking on the “Browse” button.
Step 5: Now select the “Expert Mode”, followed by “Build IPSW” option to start creating your custom firmware.
- Baseband Preservation Mode: This mode ONLY preserves the iPhone’s baseband. It does not Jailbreak or Unlock the actual device. All other modes still do preserve the baseband.
- Simple Mode: Recommended for people that dont know what to add. Simple Mode adds Cydia, afc2, SSH for Apple TV, and other recommended stuff automatically.
- Expert Mode: Expert Mode lets you have all customizing options at your disposal Such as custom boot logos, root partition size, installer options and unlocks.
Note: If your iPhone rely on an unlock, proceed only by selecting “Activate the iPhone [Hactivation]” option in “Expert Mode”.
Step 6: Sn0wbreeze will pop a “Done!” message when the custom firmware has been successfully created.
- Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds
- Now release the Power button but continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds
- You device should now be in DFU mode
Restore iOS 4.3.1 Custom Firmware Using iTunes
Step 8: Without clicking the OK button on iReb → Start iTunes, click on your iOS device icon from the sidebar in iTunes. Now press and hold Left “Shift” button on the keyboard and then click on “Restore” (Not “Update” or “Check for Update”) button in iTunes and then release this button.
Step 9: Now iTunes does the rest for you. Just wait while iTunes installs the requested firmware on your iOS device. Once done, it will reboot automatically. After the installation is done, your iOS device will be jailbroken on iOS 4.3.1.
