Saurik has just announced a major upgrade release for Cydia, bumping the version number up to 1.1. The highlighted features of this new major upgrade are said to be speed improvements, “resume where you left off”, and lots of bug fixes.
Go ahead and open up Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone, iPod or iPad to download.
This new Cydia 1.1 also brings much faster and improved search algorithm for better search results listing.
The new Cydia update is now available for all devices and can be installed directly from Cydia when being prompted to.
The search feature has improved a lot as well. However, there is still no support for backgrounding or multitasking
